St Patrick's Festival Photo Competition

So, what are you getting up to during the St Patrick's Festival in Dublin?

OK, we don't want to know everything, but if you've got some photos from the festival you would like to share with us, then you could win a night (or two) accommodation in Dublin for two people!

Past and present interns are invited to submit photos to win.

How to Enter

1. Have a fantastic time during the St Patrick's Festival and take lots of photos.
2. If you haven't already, "Like" our Internships Ireland Facebook page, then post your best photo(s) to our wall before 4pm on Tuesday 22nd March.
3. Relax and recover from the festival while we select a shortlist of photos and post them into an album on our Facebook page by Wednesday 23rd March.
4. Vote (or get friends to) for your favourite photo by "Liking" it - the photo with the most "Likes" by 4pm on Tuesday 29th March wins the prize!

The Prize

The winner can choose between either two nights midweek (Sun-Thurs) or one weekend night (Fri-Sat) for two people in an A*Star Hostel in Dublin city centre. Stay yourself with a friend, or be really popular and invite friends to visit you in Dublin!

2. The prize is either one weekend night or two midweek nights' accommodation in a twin room for two people in either Abraham House, Ashfield House or Abigail’s Hostels in Dublin, subject to availability.

5. By posting a photo to our Facebook page, you warrant that it is your own work and that you own the copyright for it. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws.
6. Any pictures deemed to contain inappropriate content will be removed from the Competition and deleted from our Facebook page.

What is "smart casual" dress code?

For the majority of the participants on our internship programmes, the dress code is "smart casual". This primarily means no denim jeans, trainers or t-shirts on the one hand, without requiring a suit or uniform at the other extreme.

While there is no definitive specification for the oxymoronic 'smart casual', we just love the detail in this description from Wikipedia:
