Internship: Fashion Design Assistant

Our client a fashion designer with her own distinctive fashion label requires a student with a keen interest in fashion to work in her studio in Dublin.


Job Description

• Assisting the Design team
• Identifying and researching trends
• Producing colour palettes, mood boards, garment specification sheets
• Assisting with the design of the garment ranges
• Assisting with sourcing fabrics and trims
• Liaising with clients and attending client meetings when necessary
• Liaising with factories.

Requirements

• Ideally, the candidate will have experience in the area of fashion design
• Be studying a fashion related area at third level
• Good CAD skills
• Strong communication skills
